AVOCADO OVERVIEW

🥑SUPPLY UPDATE

In a nutshell the national production figures for last week were as follows

·       Week 25, 2025 - The industry experienced an overall 10.28% decrease in production on the previous week’s harvest with this weeks total of 430,310 tray equivalents harvested and transported (approx 49,000 less tray equivalents) on Week 24, 2025 production.

Production across the country saw Central Queensland take over the lead in production with a number of NQ Farms having finished their harvest for this year - Central Qld accounted for 47.31% of the total volume, followed by North Queensland accounting for 45.30%, then Southern Queensland for just 4.76%, then Central NSW for just 1.08%; then WA/NT for 0.80% and TNR 0.62% of the total production for the week.

·      It is forecast that a total of some 372,477 tray equivalents will be dispatched this week (Week 26) nationally, with the majority of these being Hass!! Production for the next three week period thereafter, is expected to fall within the range of 304K-353K tray equivalents per week, which would suggest that supply is continuing to tighten.
